Historic coaching inn, charming atmosphere, convenient off-street parking

The echo of church chimes next door was a bit annoying!!! the playground felt a tad unkempt and could use some improvements!!! A relaxing stay could be even better with a little attention to outdoor upkeep!!!

I loved my stay in a cozy double room with a cute fireplace and a bath so nice, I could've stayed in it all day! The garden was lovely for a morning coffee, and the little TV room provided a great spot to chill. The shower's temperature was tricky, but it didn’t ruin the vibe at all. definitely try the Indian restaurant next door! 😊

I had a relaxing stay with a spacious and beautifully decorated double room that offered a lovely view of the church. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The food was a highlight, with a diverse menu and high-quality dishes that impressed me at every meal. The only downside was the room price, which felt a bit steep for a single traveler, but the overall experience made up for it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The George in Wedmore. The hospitality felt warm and genuine. Dining options featured exceptional meals, and the decor had a tasteful charm. The only drawback was a minor issue with the bathroom amenities that could use attention.

We stayed for two nights and loved the spacious room with excellent decor and the wholesome breakfast. Dinner was exceptional too! I’d definitely return.

I booked a last-minute stay and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and the comfortable bed. The dinner we had in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast the next morning was hearty and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. One area for improvement would be to have more options on the dinner menu.

Just a good pick for a weekend in Wedmore with fantastic value for money. The room was large and the bed lovely. Make sure to ask for a quieter room if you're a light sleeper.
